Aerial Fire Trucks
Among the various emergency vehicle types offered at Peach State, our selection of aerial vehicles is distinguished by three prominent vehicle types: Ladders, Platforms, and Water Towers. While similar in nature, these three vehicle types can be differentiated through their unique features, including:
- Ladders: Ladder trucks are distinguished by configurations as a mid or rear mount. We offer ladder lengths of 75’, 93’, 100’, 105’ (TDA), 107’, and 125’. We offer models manufactured by Smeal and Ladder Tower Company. They have a broad operating range, lighter weight, and higher tip loads allowing for enhanced maneuverability and precise control in tight urban environments.
- Platforms: Platform aerials are available in mid-mount and rear-mount configurations, with heights of 93’, 100’, and 107’. Our platforms allow for higher payload capacities, increased room for personnel, high water flow and tip load capacity, and the capability for safe rescue operations, including space for a stair chair.
- Water Towers: Water tower trucks are unique due to their versatile boom structure. This type of apparatus allows for remotely controlled maneuverability, allowing emergency personnel to reach fires from longer distances without putting individuals at risk.
Pumper Trucks
Spartan and Smeal Pumpers offer versatility for any size fleet. These vehicles are available in a variety of configurations---standard pumper, rescue pumper, pumper-tanker, urban interface, etc. They are custom-designed with versatility and efficiency for any situation. Bodies can be mounted on either custom or commercial chassis. Both Spartan and Smeal offer a comprehensive list of custom options.
Rescue Trucks
Spartan Rescue Trucks are custom-engineered for a variety of operations. These vehicles are built to carry various loose equipment including medical supplies/equipment, extraction tools, firefighting tools, saws, portable generators, and technical rescue equipment. Spartan offers optimal customization with unique configurations for storage, seating, EMS cabinetry--virtually any type of rescue operation that you and your fleet may need to tackle.
Tanker Fire Trucks
Spartan Tankers offers a variety of vehicle configurations for areas without reliable water sources. These vehicles are specially designed to carry large-capacity water tanks and are offered in dry-side and wet side configurations, including square and elliptical tanks. The bodies can be built on commercial or custom chassis. These vehicles are rugged, with advanced engineering to withstand the rigors of remote, rural, and urban environments.
Wildland Trucks
Spartan wildland and urban interface trucks are handcrafted to handle the challenges of off-road and rugged environments. These vehicles are built with enhanced durability, and, they are compact and maneuverable, with four-wheel drive off-road capabilities. Some configurations are available with “pump and roll” capabilities.
